Moshe worked at Alloy Metal Products until 1986, ultimately serving as the president of the NASDAQ-listed company before leaving to open his own firm. In 1986, he founded Blonder & Co., Inc., an international metal trading business, catering primarily to jet engine component producing industries.

The company remained in this business until late 2002, when Moshe began looking for new opportunities to pursue. Such an opportunity presented itself when he was approached by long-time time friend, Edouard Zakarian, to fund Globalpex in its mission to deliver content certified communications.
